Our Story

A JOURNEY THAT GOES ON

1997
Mediamobile Italia was founded by a group of highly qualified engineers from major international technology companies. In these organizations, they held key roles, managing complex projects and tackling high-level challenges, thus contributing to the success of their respective companies. The experience gained in global and highly competitive environments enabled the founders to acquire advanced skills in various fields, including the management of cutting-edge technologies and the resolution of complex technical issues. This solid expertise laid the foundation for the creation of Mediamobile Italia, which benefited from top-tier know-how from the very beginning, with the goal of offering advanced and state-of-the-art solutions in the field of technology and digital services.

2001
Mediamobile Italia announces the national and international launch of Buspot Channel, the first onboard bus information channel. Equipped with color screens and stereo audio, this television network offers public utility information, Mobility Company announcements, entertainment programs, and interactive sections, ensuring dynamic engagement for passengers on the move. Buspot Channel broadcasts "on-the-go" spots during predetermined days, times, and locations, thanks to the use of an accurate satellite locator.

2005
Mediamobile Italia begins working closely with IPM Group, a multinational company leader in the design and production of equipment for the public telephone sector (payphones). Soon after, IPM Group becomes a shareholder in Mediamobile Italia. Together, they design and create the first generation of BrainOnBoardTM.
BrainOnBoard™ is a complete solution for managing a public transport bus fleet, which has been progressively adopted by numerous mobility companies both in Italy and abroad, including Switzerland and the Czech Republic.

2007
Mediamobile Italia announces the launch of Farma Channel, an informational channel dedicated to pharmacies for communicating with their customers. Farma Channel is the in-store television for pharmacies, a professional video-communication system that combines television and computer technologies to ensure a dynamic and targeted flow of information. It broadcasts useful news about access to pharmaceutical assistance at the right time and place, bringing the pharmacy profession even closer to the needs of the public.

2012
Mediamobile Italia announces the launch of Condovisione, the new multimedia bulletin board that allows real-time communication of all condominium-related information at the speed of a click! With Condovisione, both the administrator and the residents are on the same wavelength. Condovisione is the modern replacement for the old, dusty paper bulletin board, where it was nearly impossible to figure out if there was anything new to know, and where outdated notices often stayed on display, confusing even the most attentive resident.

2013
After the liquidation of IPM Group, Mediamobile Italia acquires the non-telecom business division, founding IPM Edge together with two of the key managers from the former company.
IPM Edge quickly becomes the operational technological arm of Mediamobile Italia, working in perfect synergy with the company.

2017
In line with the latest developments in the technology market and while continuing to invest in the traditional SAE systems market, Mediamobile Italia has diversified its offerings by developing Digital Signage software applications, aware of its growing adoption by an increasing number of markets.

2021
Mediamobile Italia has dedicated significant resources to the creation of a new series of products for onboard train systems, starting the development of its own range of solutions. Among these, standout products include an onboard video communication system, a Public Address system, as well as an emergency management system to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers, and more.

2023
Mediamobile Italia is supplying a complete onboard system for the brand-new Circumetnea trains in Catania, built by Firema Titagarh. The system includes video surveillance (CCTV), public address (PA), passenger information system (PIS), emergency and alarm systems, as well as an advanced onboard-to-ground connectivity solution, ensuring safety, efficient communication, and enhanced connectivity onboard.

2024
Mediamobile Italia is supplying a complete onboard system for the brand-new trains ordered by the Lazio Region for the Rome-Ostia and Rome-Viterbo lines, built by Firema Titagarh. The system includes video surveillance (CCTV), an advanced SIL2-certified public address (PA) system, ensuring the highest level of reliability and safety in passenger communication, as well as a passenger information system (PIS) and emergency and alarm systems, guaranteeing high standards of safety and connectivity onboard.

2024
In 2024, IPM Edge, already 100% controlled by Mediamobile Italia, merged with Mediamobile Italia through incorporation. This strategic operation represented a key step in optimizing and strengthening the company’s management and operational processes. The merger significantly improved the effectiveness and efficiency of Mediamobile Italia’s commercial and technical activities in the market, creating a more agile and responsive structure. Additionally, it fostered an unprecedented synergy between the engineers and technicians of the two former companies, greatly enhancing internal communication and creating an even more collaborative and productive work environment.
