The Passenger Information System (PIS) is a system designed to provide useful information to passengers in various transportation environments, such as trains, buses, and subways. Our PIS conveys visual messages that can either be preloaded onboard or transmitted in real-time from the Ground Control Center or the driver.

The main goal is to enhance the traveler's experience by providing real-time or scheduled information, such as:

  • Schedules, arrivals, and departures
  • Stops and traffic conditions
  • Other useful travel information
The system contributes to optimizing passenger satisfaction throughout the journey.

The PIS uses various types of onboard displays, including:
PID (Passenger Information Displays): show information such as:
  • The next stop
  • The estimated arrival time at the next stop
  • The side of the train to exit
  • ...
Dynamic Line Map Displays: mounted on the doors, show in real-time the train's position along the line, with features such as:
  • An overview of the entire line
  • A zoom-in on the next stops
  • Information about services available at the next arriving station
In this way, the system provides clear and timely communication, improving the overall passenger experience.
